Hi, I’m Lan, the creator of this blog.

Welcome to Stubburn Fat!

I created this blog to help stubborn start burning their stubborn fat! (hence, the name Stubburn Fat)

In short, I want to help people get started in their weight loss journey.

Searching for ways to lose weight can be grueling, frustrating and confusing!

Just reading stuff online won’t get you the results you wanted. You have to actually implement what you learn!

That’s why Stubburn Fat aims not just to inform, but to actually help you start doing something for your health and weight loss!

The Stubborn Dude behind Stubburn Fat...

Yes, that’s me in a suit but I’m just a simple dude who wants to enjoy life!

Believe it or not, I used to be overweight and at one point, obese…

I was overweight for most of my life. I  thought I was going to stay that way for the rest of my life because I was too stubborn to do anything about it.

But something changed… I saw this picture of me taken on September of 2016.

I knew I was overweight, but I never realized that I was getting this big! It was the biggest that I’ve ever seen myself. 

So I tried the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting.

I lost around 66 lbs (30 kg) in 6 months but I regained more than a third of it 6 months after I went off the diet.

Then I went on and off on keto and intermittent fasting… but I don’t want to get stuck on that cycle.

I know yo-yo dieting is bad.

I realized that a strict diet isn’t sustainable for me. I wanted to lose weight to enjoy life. I can’t enjoy life by restricting entire food groups forever!

I also realized that losing weight was easy… keeping it off is a lifelong commitment! I had to find another way to lose weight and maintain it. 

I did some research and found that simple and easy lifestyle changes are more effective in the long term especially if you develop it as a habit. 

So I started small habits that help me maintain my weight today. 

That’s why the focus of this blog is to share simple and sustainable ways to lose weight and be healthy!
